An unrelated man and woman travel to an island on the same ferryboat. Almost by accident they find themselves on a quest to find a resting place for a metallic box the man carries with him. The woman, Elena, is experiencing a crisis, the man, Antonis, is drifting. The story is a low-key two-hander about an impasse in life, an unexpected meeting of kindred spirits that demand nothing of each other except companionship. Filmed in an economic style and with naturalistic acting, the story delivers a refreshing depth and humorous touch.

Ο Αντώνης και η Έλενα, άγνωστοι μεταξύ τους, ταξιδεύουν στο ίδιο φεριμπότ για να φτάσουν σε ένα νησί. Σχεδόν από σύμπτωση, ξεκινάν μία περιπέτεια αναζήτησης για να θάψουν ένα μεταλλικό κουτί που ο άντρας κρατάει μαζί του. Η γυναίκα περνάει κρίση, ο άντρας είναι μετέωρος. Η ιστορία των δύο ατόμων παραπέμπει σε αδιέξοδο, για συγγενικές ψυχές που ζητάνε μόνο λίγη συντροφικότητα. Γυρισμένο με λιτό τρόπο και φυσική ηθοποιία, η ταινία πετυχαίνει ασυνήθιστο βάθος με χιουμοριστική διάθεση.
